Peace and Quiet where you need it most.
Bradford SoundScreen insulation filters out noise and replaces it with quiet, comfortable living. That's why insulating your home with SoundScreen is the easiest, most comfortable decision you'll ever make.
SoundScreen dramatically reduces unwanted noise transfer through stud walls, floors & ceilings by as much as 85% in sound power level.
SoundScreen is a lightweight insulation material manufactured from a molten mixture of natural rock and recycled blast furnace waste products, and bonded with a thermosetting resin. It is specially formulated with water repellent to prevent moisture ingress into buildings.

Note: Depending on the wall system used, where Rw is the Weighted Sound Reduction Index. See the CSR High Performance Walls and Ceiling brochure for various system results.
SoundScreen is faintly alkaline and incapable of corroding steel. To maintain this condition, protection must be provided against contamination from external sources. When tested in accordance with BS 3958 Part 5-1986,Bradford SoundScreen products have a pH of 7.0-9.0.
Exposure to an atmosphere of 50°C and 95% relative humidity for four days, results in moisture absorption of less than 0.2% by volume. If the insulation becomes wet, full thermal efficiency will be restored on drying out.
The insulation material in the floors, walls and ceilings shall be Bradford SoundScreen as manufactured by CSRBradford Insulation, to fit tightly into stud or joists leaving no gaps in the insulation.
